Here is an easy to make, super simple and totally healthy breakfast that you can make for you and your family to get you all started off on the right foot. It's "single serving" style components makes it easy to manage your portions so you can adjust based on how hungry you are that day or what your dietary goals might be (Zoner's). Now, the following ingredients are portioned for what I eat for an average breakfast on any given day, but feel free to increase/decrease to suite your hunger needs. Just make sure to do so in a balanced manor as this meal is portioned out (protein, fat, carbohydrate) to be as balanced as possible.
What you'll need:
3 Eggs
4 Strawberries
1 handfull of Blackberries or Blueberries (sometimes I like to mix it up)
1 Avocado
1 pinch of Sea Salt
1 pinch of Black Pepper
1 pinch of Lemon Pepper
What you'll do:
Heat up a medium sized skillet on low heat with a small splash of olive oil. Spread the oil around with a paper towel as to make and even coating and soak up any excess - all you want is a light coat to prevent the eggs from burning. Once hot, crack the 3 eggs into the pan and lightly salt and pepper. While those cook, wash and dry the strawberries and blackberries (or blueberries) and place on your plate. Then, cut your avocado in half and carve out the slices to your liking. Lightly season with Lemon Pepper for some added excitement. When your eggs have coooked, remove from the pan and add to the plate. That's it - a super easy and healthy breakfast to help you sart your day.
